After a road trip across the country that included an “Unfortunate Van” situation (broken down in Montana!), The D45s arrived in Knoxville, Tennessee, for an on-air performance on WDVX Knoxville’s “Blue Plate Special” last Thursday. Thanks to all of you who tuned in! From there, the guys hopped back on the road for their first show in Nashville at Grimey’s New and Preloved Music. Last night, the band rocked The Vernon Club in Louisville, Kentucky, and will continue their jam-packed weekend with a show at the legendary Bluebird Café back in Nashville tonight.

Tour stops still to come:

June 28: Mallard Club in Jonesboro, AR
July 2:
“Sounds on the Square” concert at the Clinton County Courthouse Square in Carlyle, IL (Billy Joe’s hometown!!!)
July 3: Big Stix Bar and Grill in Breese, IL
July 6: “New Faces” at The Basement in Nashville, TN

If you have friends in any of the stops on the “Back to Your Roots” tour, tell them to head out to the shows and meet the band.

Rumor has it, the band’s going to ramp up their “tweeting” from the road, so make sure you’re following TheDusty45s on Twitter!

There’s no rest for the weary. The guys return from the road just in time to heat up summer in Seattle! Welcome the band back at West Seattle’s Summer Fest on July 11th, Slim’s Last Chance on July 17th, and White Center Jubilee Days on July 18th.
