Dusty 45s logoIt all went down last Sunday, September 6th on the Starbucks Stage at Bumbershoot, where the guys powered through a set of their newest material and a few classics. The Seattle sprinkle didn’t keep the crowds away. They showed up for a Bumbershoot blow out, and the Dusty 45s didn’t disappoint! Coined a “best-kept secret” by the Seattle Weekly, we respectfully disagree – we’ve loved the fellas for years and they proved once again that they rock the house, rain or shine!

Your local favorite the Dusty 45’s are playing Bumbershoot this Sunday! Don’t miss this chance to see the Dusty’s at Seattle’s largest music festival. They play the Mural Amphitheater in Seattle Center at 1:30pm. The Dusty’s are excited and honored to play to a hometown crowd at one of the premiere music festivals around.

Bumbershoot is one of the largest music and urban arts festivals in the world. The Bumbershoot festival celebrates artists from many different genres representing the best in music, film, comedy, theater, spoken word, dance, visual, performance and literary arts. With over 20 indoor/outdoor venues, a wide variety of festival cuisine and a diverse collection of indie retail vendors, Bumbershoot embodies an eclectic mix of artists that has inspired summer festival-goers for nearly four decades!

There will be a ton of great music over the course of the 3 day festival. Check the lineup and come see your favorite bands at Bumbershoot!

The Dusty 45s start summer off with a bang on Fourth of July weekend! Friday, July 3rd at the Tractor Tavern the show begins at 9:30 pm with Vince Mira opening. The following night, July 4th at the Waterfront Restaurant, the D45s rock Pier 70 from 6-9pm.

On July 12th, the band hits the studio with producer Brad Zeffron to record a new CD. This new album will be full of rockin tunes that will be sure to get your boots scootin. Check out the list of summer shows below and come on out and hear samples of the new songs! A CD Release event will be scheduled for the fall.

Two summer dates of note are August 1st Seafair and September 9th Bumbershoot! The band travels to Nantucket for a series of shows on the first weekend of October, then returns home for the 5th Avenue Theatre’s premiere of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Billy Joe is slated to play the Pharaoh.
