Last Thursday, Billy Joe brought Qwest Field to its feet, as he sang the National Anthem for the Seahawks vs. Raiders game. His killer kick-off helped the Hawks pull out a 31-21 win, and sent Oakland packing. Billy Joe’s appearance at the stadium was in support of his role in The 5th Avenue Theatre’s upcoming production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, running October 10-November 1.

In case you weren’t at the game, here’s the Star Spangled action!

dusty_45s_-_billy_joe_huels_021The Dusty 45’s very own Billy Joe Huels will be singing the national anthem at the final pre-season Seahawks game this Thursday night at Qwest field! How cool is that…! Billy is signing the anthem in support of the 5th Avenues Theaters latest production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat where he stars as Pharaoh the Elvis inspired character. The play runs at the 5th Ave Theater Oct 10th - Nov 1st 2009.

If you don’t already have tickets to see the Seahawks play the Oakland Raiders this gives you one more reason to pick some up. The rumor has it the Raiders bleed silver and black…and the Hawks will be sure to draw blood. Should be a great game! If you cant make it to the game it will aired on King 5 at 7pm.

We cant wait to hear Billy put his twist on the Star Spangled Banner.
