Wednesday night, the boys will jump on a Jet Blue red-eye flight for a return trip to the island of Nantucket! They will perform Friday (10/2) and Saturday (10/3) afternoons at the Cisco Brewery, then both nights the fellas will head to The Chicken Box, the island’s best music venue, for a true rock and roll party! This one could go all night, folks! Or, at least from 10-2 am! On Sunday, October 4th, they’ll keep the whole island rockin’ when they play the annual Octoberfest back at the Cisco Brewery.
The Dusty 45s rocked Nantucket last year and plan to do the same this visit. Get your dancing shoes on and come out and support your favorite Seattle americana, roots, rock n roll band!

Maxim Magazine ranked The Comet in the Top 10 American Dive Bars, so you can’t miss this rowdy night of cheap beer and awesome music. The show starts at 9 pm with EXOHXO and Y La Bamba taking the stage, and heating things up for the Dustys at 11 pm. Sorry youngsters, you must be 21+ to attend. The Comet is located at 922 E. Pike Street, Seattle, and there’s an $8 cover. We WILL hit capacity, so get there early!
Your local favorite the Dusty 45’s are playing Bumbershoot this Sunday! Don’t miss this chance to see the Dusty’s at Seattle’s largest music festival. They play the Mural Amphitheater in Seattle Center at 1:30pm. The Dusty’s are excited and honored to play to a hometown crowd at one of the premiere music festivals around.

The Dusty 45’s very own Billy Joe Huels will be singing the national anthem at the final pre-season Seahawks game this Thursday night at Qwest field! How cool is that…! Billy is signing the anthem in support of the 5th Avenues Theaters latest production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat where he stars as Pharaoh the Elvis inspired character. The play runs at the 5th Ave Theater Oct 10th - Nov 1st 2009.
If you don’t already have tickets to see the Seahawks play the Oakland Raiders this gives you one more reason to pick some up. The rumor has it the Raiders bleed silver and black…and the Hawks will be sure to draw blood. Should be a great game! If you cant make it to the game it will aired on King 5 at 7pm.

The Dusty 45s have been added to the lineup at The Stillaguamish Festival of the River. The festival runs August 8-9th in Arlington, WA at the River Meadows County Park. The event is free and features two full days of music starting at 11am. There are also a variety of other activities including a Salmon Bake, Fun Run and Pow Wow. The Dusty 45s play Saturday at 11am. There is no ATM and cell service is spotty so be prepared. Dogs are allowed if on leash
The mission of the Festival is to help people who live and work in the Stillaguamish Watershed and surrounding regions understand how their actions can help make their environment cleaner for people, fish, and wildlife.

The Out to Lunch concert series has been moved from Friday, August 7th to Friday, July 31st. We will be joined by former Dusty 45s Piano Man, Micah Hulscher. If you have ever seen the Vinyl Avengers, this show is for you! The Music starts at 12 noon and the event is free.
