The single best weekend of the summer has arrived. U.S Navy Blue Angels, Unlimited Hydroplane Racing, Live Concerts and Fireworks all in one spot, August 1-3 at the Chevrolet Cup and KeyBank Air Show. I can already hear the Blue Angels screaching overhead practicing their amazing precision manuevers! Dont get caught off gaurd by the bridge closures due to the Blue Angels practice schedule


The Dusty 45s will open the Seafair 2008 Celebration on August 1st 4pm at Genesse Park. This show is FREE and will be a blast! Don’t miss Seafair 2008.

The Dusty 45s are playing this Wednesday at the University Village Summer Concert Series. Enjoy live music, $4 gourmet tastes from your favorite U Village restaurants, groovy kids club activities and a beer and wine garden hosted by The Ram during this beloved summer tradition. The Dusty’s play at 6pm and the show is free and all ages. Bring the family out and have some fun in the sun!

Saturday, July 26th The Dusty 45s make a long awaited return to the Seattle’s favorite honky tonk Little Red Hen. Located in the heart of Greenlake, the Hen is a throwback to the Juke Joints of the 50’s and 60’s. Put on your dancing shows and come swing, juke and jive the night away! Show starts at 9pm. $10/21+

Every summer the Dusty 45s can be seen at a variety of outdoor venues. All of the concerts are free and all-ages. Come on out and support local music and enjoy the beautiful Northwest summer!

The season kicks off next Wednesday, July 30th at University Village from 6-9pm. http://www.uvillage.com/events.asp
Next the Dusties perform on Friday, August 1st at Seafair. The event is held at Genesse Park. Starting at noon catch Vince Mira, Ian McFeron Band, and at 4pm, The Dusty 45s.

Sunday, August 3rd is the debut performance at Mercer Island’s “Mostly Music in the Park”. Showtime is 7pm!
Friday, August 8th at Noon is the annual Harbor Steps “Out to Lunch” concert. Located on the steps just below SAM in downtown Seattle. Bring your dancing shoes to work and take a long lunch!
Saturday, August 9th, 11:30 A.M. The Dusty 45s kick off the “Festival of the River” in Arlington, WA. This festival is also free. Check out some of the other acts such as Smash Mouth, The Gin Blossoms and The English Beat!

The Dusty 45s are playing a show this evening at the Waterfront Restaurant on Pier 70 – Reservations Required. Come down and enjoy some great music and wonderful food before the fireworks! Have a great time celebrating our Independence Day and be safe;-)

We finally got our hands on the footage from KEXP’s Shake the Shack Rockabilly Ball at the Tractor Tavern! There is no doubt some great stuff on the three video’s. A big thanks goes out to RJ Farr at Smartass Press Productions for getting the footage to us. Enjoy and let us know what you think…
